Seminar : SMK St John, Kuala Lumpur
19 July 2006 : Seminar Pecutan Akhir Peperiksaan
Yes, another seminar in Bukit Nenas Kuala Lumpur. This time, the seminar was attended not only by the exam year students of Form 3, 5 and Upper 6, but the Form 4 and Lower 6 students also came in large numbers. Coming to St John reminded me of my Penang Free School days, because both school shared many similarities such as being over 100 years old, founded by the British, boys school (with some Form 6 girls!) and urban. A special thank you to the teachers who came and stayed back during the seminar despite it being a Saturday. Thanks also to the students who helped coordinate the seminar and assisted the technical works.

19 July 2006 : Seminar Bijak Belajar 'persediaan awal' for Form 1, 2 and 4 students
The reception was very good. Was a breath of fresh air to deliver the Bijak Belajar module as compared to the Pecutan Akhir Peperiksaan modules. Dr Shukri did the Pecutan Akhir Peperiksaan seminar for the Form 3 and 5 students of the same school the day before my seminar. Thanks to all those whe were involved. And a special thanks for Cikgu Jaffri for sharing the photos with me. Again, good luck to the students. Mula bersedia dari sekarang.

Seminar : Convent Bukit Nanas, Kuala Lumpur
12 July 2006 : Seminar Pecutan Akhir Peperiksaan for Form 3 students (preparation for PMR)
The seminar started a bit lat than usual due to the school choir training. However I managed to finished on time by 1.00pm and to make way for the evening session. The student reception was very good. I enjoyed delivering my seminar there. To the students, keep on 'banyakkan latihan, fahami soalan & fahami jawapan' and good luck for your PMR exams.

Photo : Kuala Lumpur night landscape
Actual Date : 2nd July 2006
Night photography with Imran Khan, fellow member of MalaysianWings.Com. All photos were taken with Imran's Panasonic Lumix FZ30, swapping SD cards at every new composition.
We first went to Universiti Malaya 'lake' to capture the scene of the imposing TM corporate headquarters. Imran wanted to capture the Petronas Twin Towers at night, so instead of bringing him to KLCC (where his FZ30 widest focal range of 35mm might be a little bit limiting), I brought him to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. Not surprisingly, this is his first visit to the lake and my first visit there since... maybe 15 years ago!
Imran is back for good from Dubai, and will continue his A-Level studies at a preuniversity college at Lembah Beringin, Selangor. Good luck Imran.
